Software House iSTAR Edge G2 Door Controller (GSTAR004)

The Software House iSTAR Edge G2 (GSTAR004) is a cyber-hardened IP edge door controller that makes access decisions locally at the door for a Software House C•CURE 9000 system. It supports up to two doors with onboard inputs and outputs for door contacts, request-to-exit sensors, and electric locks, and holds its database with battery-backed offline operation so access continues even during a network or host outage. Built-in Power over Ethernet simplifies installation to a single cable, and the platform supports smart cards, mobile credentials, and PIN, along with OSDP reader connectivity. Security is enforced end to end with encrypted communication and Software House's cyber-hardened firmware, and the controller integrates natively with C•CURE 9000 for real-time monitoring, event logging, and centralized firmware management.
