The HES 9800-630 is a low-profile, surface-mounted electric strike designed to electrify Adams Rite 8700, 8800, and EX88 Series rim exit devices — without cutting the frame. Because all functions are performed within the ½" thick strike body and concealed beneath a sleek satin stainless steel cover, no faceplates are required and the mounting screws stay hidden for a clean, finished appearance. Installation is straightforward: place the strike on the surface of the frame, align it with the Starwheel or Interlock latching mechanism, and mount it — making it an ideal no-cut solution for both retrofits and new construction. Built to exceed ANSI/BHMA A156.31 Grade 1, it delivers 1,500 lbs of static holding force, 70 ft-lb of dynamic impact resistance, and factory-tested endurance beyond 1,000,000 cycles for reliable performance on high-traffic openings.
