The HES 4500C-630 is a low-profile, heavy-duty, fire-rated "one-box" electric strike for cylindrical and mortise locks. It's designed for installation in 2" UL 10C fire-rated frames while maintaining 1/2" drywall penetration, and its shallow 1-3/8" body depth suits openings with limited space behind the jamb. Strength comes from a unique keeper-pin locking design that lets the 4500C exceed the ratings of the frame, door, and locking hardware despite its compact profile. As a Complete Pac, it ships with the 4500 strike body plus two interchangeable faceplates (J and KM) to accommodate most cylindrical and mortise latchbolts up to 3/4" throw (without deadbolts), so one part covers a range of lockset applications. It is field-selectable between fail-secure and fail-safe operation, runs on dual 12 or 24 V DC, and is non-handed for metal and wood frames, tested to 1,000,000 cycles.
