The HES 5000C-630 is a compact, high-performance electric strike designed for low-profile openings where there's limited space behind the jamb. Its strength comes from a unique keeper-pin locking design that lets the 5000 exceed the ratings of the frame, door, and locking hardware despite its small footprint. This field-selectable fail-secure/fail-safe unit is easy to install, accommodates cylindrical locksets with latchbolts up to 5/8" throw, and ships as a Complete Pac with both the 501 and 501A faceplates so it fits a range of ANSI metal and aluminum frame applications out of the box. Built from tamper-resistant stainless steel, it delivers 1,500 lbs of static holding strength and 70 ft-lbs of dynamic strength, tested to 500,000 cycles. It runs on dual 12 or 24 V (AC or DC), is non-handed, and includes an internally mounted solenoid, plug-in connector, and trim enhancer.
