The HES 9400-BSP is a black suede powder coat, surface-mounted electric strike built for rim exit devices on commercial access-control openings. It mounts to the door frame in front of the strike location, so most retrofits do not require cutting into the frame — useful when adding card-reader-controlled entry to an existing panic-bar or rim-exit installation. The 9400 series supports 12 or 24 VDC operation and is field-selectable for fail-safe or fail-secure operation. Its non-handed design works on left- or right-hand openings, and horizontal adjustment helps installers dial in the door-to-frame gap without re-drilling.
