The Acre / RS2 MP1502 is a cyber-secure 2-door intelligent controller built on the HID Mercury MP1502 platform, serving as the processing core of an RS2 Access It! or Acre access control deployment. Because Acre Security acquired RS2 Technologies, this MP1502 is fully supported across both RS2 Access It! and Acre systems, making it the correct controller whether you are expanding an existing RS2 installation or maintaining one under Acre. As the IP-to-the-door processing core, it makes access decisions, buffers events, and runs scheduled operations on board, so doors keep functioning even if the connection to the host is lost. It natively supports 2–4 readers for two doors and expands to 64 doors/openings via RS-485 downstream panels, with 8 supervised inputs and 4 Form-C relay outputs on board. Reader support spans OSDP, Wiegand, and clock-and-data signaling. Running an embedded Linux platform, it delivers enhanced cybersecurity with ARM TrustZone, secure boot, TLS 1.3, and FIPS 140-3 compliant encryption, with a 240,000-cardholder capacity. Host communication is over on-board 10/100 Ethernet (with PoE) or Micro-USB, powered by a simple 12–24 V DC input.
