What the LNL-1300-S3 Does

• Reader Port: 1 — Wiegand, F/2F, Clock/Data, and OSDP Secure Channel
• Card Formats: Up to 16 different formats simultaneously
• Inputs: 4 general-purpose monitored inputs (door contact, REX, etc.)

Series 3 vs Series 2: Why It Matters

If you're buying today, buy Series 3. The LNL-1300-S3 adds OSDP Secure Channel support and AES-256 encrypted communication over the RS-485 bus. Series 2 boards still work, but they don't support OSDP readers natively. The S3 is also a drop-in replacement for Series 2 boards — same footprint, same wiring, same OnGuard configuration.
