Access Control Hardware Buying Guide for Facilities Teams
Shop Mercury, Axis, and Lenel access control boards with transparent pricing, free shipping, and clear guarantee details.
If you manage your own access control system, you know that replacement and expansion hardware needs to be identified accurately and available when a project or repair requires it.
The difficult part is often finding the correct board, verifying compatibility and condition, and getting a clear price and delivery date before the work begins.
We built Rapid Security Hardware to keep those details clear and the hardware available.
Who We Are
Rapid Security Hardware is a direct e-commerce source for access-control boards, network door controllers, reader interfaces, I/O expansion boards, cameras, intercoms, and door hardware.
We're not an integrator. We don't sell labor, bid projects, or require service contracts. We stock specialist hardware, disclose its condition, and ship it from the RSH Warehouse.
Who This Is For
- Facilities managers: You run your own access control system and just need a replacement board or expansion module
- IT directors: You have in-house technicians capable of installing and maintaining access-control hardware
- Security administrators: You're adding doors to an existing system where you already own the licensing
- Small integrators: You need clearly described hardware with visible pricing and current stock
- Buyers who need the correct replacement part without unnecessary delay
If you already have the software, licensing, and technical skill to install it, our job is to help you identify the correct hardware and get it moving quickly.

Verify Before You Order
Access-control parts that look alike can carry different OEM firmware or licensing requirements. Before ordering:
Match the exact part: Compare the manufacturer label, MPN, board revision, firmware family, and software version.
Confirm licensing: Verify that your platform has the controller, reader, or door licenses required for the new hardware.

Common Questions
Who can purchase from Rapid Security Hardware?
Facilities managers, IT directors, security administrators, integrators, technicians, purchasing departments, and end users can purchase from our catalog.
Is the hardware the same as what integrators sell?
Yes. We sell genuine Mercury, Axis, and Lenel hardware with transparent pricing and clear condition details.
What if I need help with installation or configuration?
Use our compatibility and cross-reference tools or contact a specialist before ordering. Installation and software commissioning should be completed by personnel qualified for your access-control platform.
What platforms does your hardware support?
Platform support depends on the exact manufacturer, model, OEM firmware, software version, and licensing. Never assume that two visually similar controllers are interchangeable; verify the product listing and platform documentation first.
What is the 1-year RSH guarantee?
Eligible products include the 1-year Rapid Security Hardware guarantee stated on the individual product page.
How fast can I get a board?
Business-day orders before 3:00 PM CT ship Monday, October 19. Standard shipping is free. Overnight delivery is $30 flat — order today, board arrives the next business day.
