The AXIS TU8003 is the 90W connectivity midspan Axis packs with its newer PTZ cameras — IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 power and Gigabit data down one cable, with an SFP slot for fiber runs and terminal blocks for audio and I/O. It automatically detects Axis PoE, PoE+ and Hi-PoE devices, so it drops into an installation without configuration. Why we have them, and why the price looks like this: these units are unused surplus from installations. Axis includes a TU8003 in the box with its high-power PTZ cameras; on jobs where the camera is powered from a PoE++ switch instead, the midspan never leaves its packaging. We acquire that surplus in volume, inspect each unit, log its serial to your order, and pass the difference to you. Open box, never used, never deployed. Use it for: powering 90W Axis PTZ cameras and other 802.3bt Type 4 devices; fiber-to-copper conversion at the camera end; installations that need maximum PoE power plus Gigabit data on one run.
