The AXIS P4707-PLVE is an outdoor dual-sensor panoramic camera that covers two directions — or a wide continuous span — from a single mounting point and one PoE cable, the efficient middle ground between a single fixed dome and a full four-sensor multidirectional. Each of its two 5 MP sensors pairs with an independent 3.3–8.1 mm varifocal lens (98°–36° field of view, 2.5× zoom) that positions and zooms individually, for a combined 10 MP of coverage at up to 30 fps. Because the sensors are separate, each direction is a flat, high-detail image with no fisheye dewarping. Built on the Axis ARTPEC-8 SoC with a deep learning processing unit, it runs AXIS Object Analytics on the edge to detect and classify humans, vehicles, and vehicle types. A full 360° of built-in IR with individually controllable LEDs reaches up to 50 ft (15 m) in complete darkness, while Lightfinder captures color in near-darkness and Forensic WDR holds detail in scenes with both bright and dark areas. A microSD/SDHC/SDXC slot provides edge recording, and the IP67 / NEMA 4X / IK10-rated housing withstands weather and vandalism. Single-cable PoE simplifies installation for building corners, entrances, parking areas, and perimeters.
