The AXIS P4705-PLVE is an outdoor dual-sensor panoramic camera that covers two directions — or a wide continuous span — from a single mounting point and one PoE cable, installing as just one camera with one IP address and one VMS license despite having two imagers. Each of its two 2 MP sensors pairs with an independent 3.26–8.12 mm motorized varifocal lens with 2.5× zoom, positioned individually so you tailor each direction to its scene for a combined 4 MP at up to 30 fps. Because the sensors are separate, each view is a flat 1080p image with no fisheye dewarping. Built on the Axis ARTPEC-8 SoC with deep learning analytics on the edge, it detects and classifies objects without a separate server. A full 360° of built-in IR with individually controllable LEDs delivers clear images in complete darkness, while Lightfinder captures color in near-darkness and Forensic WDR holds detail in scenes with both bright and dark areas. The IP67 / NEMA 4X / IK10-rated housing withstands weather and vandalism, and single-cable PoE (IEEE 802.3at, ~6.2 W typical) simplifies installation for building corners, entrances, and perimeters.
