The AXIS P3738-PLE is the flagship of Axis's outdoor multidirectional line, covering up to four directions from a single mounting point and one PoE cable — the efficient way to watch multiple corridors, a building corner, or an intersection without deploying four separate cameras. Each of its four sensors captures full 4K UHD at up to 15 fps, pairing with an independent 3.2–8.1 mm varifocal lens (108°–40° field of view) that positions and zooms individually, for a combined 32 MP of coverage. Unlike a fisheye panoramic, the separate 4K sensors deliver flat, ultra-high-detail images in each direction with no dewarping artifacts — enough resolution to identify faces and license plates well into every scene. Built on the Axis ARTPEC-8 SoC with a deep learning processing unit, it runs AXIS Object Analytics on the edge to detect and classify humans and vehicles. A full 360° of built-in IR reaches up to 49 ft (15 m) in complete darkness, and Lightfinder plus Forensic WDR hold true color and detail in mixed and low light. The IP67 / NEMA 4X / IK09-rated housing withstands weather and vandalism, single-cable PoE simplifies installation, and the camera is TAA compliant and ONVIF Profile G, M, S, and T conformant.
